I built a simple jig to help hold the flanges evenly on the tube for welding. Next I marked the flanges and drilled and tapped them. After this I cleaned up the rough cut from the saw. I did not take pictures but it is the same idea as above. I did this with another smaller hole saw. The next step is to open up the flange to allow it to fit over the 3" tube. (Your obviously using the larger diameter in this picture) ![]() You will probably need to make your own heavy duty arbor, none of mine where up to this job. Mark carefully to get the most out of the plate. The first step was to cut some 6" hub flanges for the wheels I did this by loading a big hole saw into the drill press. Here is a general mock of how the tube fits in the wheels (it doesn't) I paid $25 each for the wheels, $35 for the tube and $40 for the plate that is pictured. 5" aluminum plate and some 3" aluminum tube. I started thinking that these could easily be turned into cat-trax. This project started when I was at the local scrap yard and saw a set of aluminum golf cart wheels that were set aside for sale. I decided to make 2 pairs for myself to see if indeed it is any cheaper, I will also share costs and processes. Every once in a while someone comes along and asks about homemade beach wheels convinced they would be much cheaper than a set from cat-trax.

This thing has terrible lines along the fenders and side skirts. This is NOT the same standard as the first season. ![]() Seriously? 60 k for what looks like a really cheap kit car. Come on! Then on to that Ford/Delahae or whatever. And, why paint it all nice outside but leave the engine bay dirty and unpainted. I did like the car but I have doubts as to whether it could do what was claimed. Also, power steering on this car or not? And those super wide rear tyres….surely you don’t want too much rear traction on a drift car. I am no drift expert, however the front wheel camber was way off form what I have seen on drift cars. They all looked like serious spinout with oversteer that were cut short. I Didn’t see one real drift from the Merc, only cleverly edited scenes to make it look like it was somewhat drifting. Regardless, Car Masters: Rust to Riches is a series that is destined to stay - it has the energy of an endless reality show due to the widening scope of what the crew can do.Įnjoy this show but man S3E1 makes me asks some serious questions which shatter the immersion of this show. But with the budget always a factor, that may seem unlikely for now (Netflix, throw that cash, baby!). It will be interesting to see if Netflix expands the brand with the crew and brings in specials, putting the crew on projects that far exceed the realms of their garage. With so many many models of vehicles, Car Masters: Rust to Riches has the same sell-by-date a the likes of Top Gear, where the possibilities and scope are endless. The first chapter shows the crew turning a 1933 Ford replica into an art deco Delahaye there’s plenty of raised eyebrows on whether they can make the car drift, especially on a highly technical track.īut there’s clearly longevity in a series like this. Not much sets itself apart from its predecessor in Car Masters: Rust to Riches season 3. By sticking to the same concept, the Netflix reality series gives eager audiences 8 more chapters of glorious renovations and tricky encounters. It’s not a show-off gig for interested scrap car marketeers. Despite loving their world, this pressure to make a profit, and be within budget, gives the series an added dimension there’s plenty of honesty in the concept. However, what grabs my attention in this highly creative show is the business acumen behind Gotham Garage’s passion. If this were a series about motor racing, my ears would peak. From my perspective, I’m not a car enthusiastic, and I’m not entirely interested in the process of auctioning and trading. As we stated in season 2, Car Masters: Rust to Riches is a surprisingly well-thought-out reality series that flagrantly angles towards the petrol heads, but at the same time, shows some recognition to the process of converting tired cars and trucks and converting them into something special for trade. ![]() When needed, take one melatonin children gummy for assistance falling and staying asleep This childrens sleep formula is perfect for picky eaters and is suitable for kids aged 4+. Emails often go unanswered if I’m honest, so if you want the software to work for you, you have to be very hands-on when it comes down to tracking down answers to problems you come across. On the free plan my experience has been that there is really no software support. It can be a bit tricky to find those failed posts to reschedule them though! This does happen with most software and will usually be a result of implemented upgrades. Very occasionally the system will fail to post. Not able to view my content in a weekly layout – this may not be a problem for most, but as a visual planner I do like to see what my content looks like over a period of time, so that I can make sure my message is on track. So I was out of luck, as I tossed the tracking number out weeks ago. ![]() Called again explained the issue, and this time they told me they never received the sweater from UPS and could not refund me unless I had a tracking number. Money never showed up on my card statement after 4 days. So I gave Carbon a call and was promised it would be taken care of within 2 business days. It was sent UPS and after about 6 weeks realized my credit card was never reimbursed. I did not like the sweater fit or style at and had to return it and pay shipping of $10 with their prepaid sticker. The 3rd time ordering is where things really get interesting. The second time the jacket was lacking quality for the amount paid, the size was medium and fit like and XL, sent back no issues. The first time went smooth and the sweater was true to description (although in my opinion still over priced at $170 for what it was). This is very insightful and true about this company. They pictures are pretty nice and they make the clothes look pretty good. On top of that they sell it for "Bonobos" prices but without the quality. Selling really cheaply made clothes that are probably imported from some country somewhere where a company make a bunch of cheap crap and sells it to other companies that pretend that's it's their designs. I don't really like to be taken advantage of and I regret having spent any money on C2C. Looking more into it, there not many reviews online for C2C and the few that are there are pretty much negative. I got a bad taste in my mouth about this company. Not a very insightful answer nor really believable. They told me that they work closely with Zenfari and that they make exclusive stuff for them. I wrote to C2C customer service and asked them why the same shirt had two different makers tags inside. It's a really bad looking site with cheesy outdoor style clothes that were equally as overpriced as C2C clothes. The large shirt didn't have a c2c tag though, the printed on tag was from a company called "Zenfari" plus there was a somewhat cheesy tag on the right sleeve and another on the hem of the shirt. The thing I noticed was that the medium shirt had the Carbon2cobalt tag in the shirt. I got the shirts and tried them on and decided on the large over the medium. I ordered a Polo in two sizes to see which one will fit better and then return the other one. A month or so later they started to have their summer sale and I bought a couple more things even though I should have known better. By cheesy I mean, sewn in fabric to make it look like you are wearing a shirt below the shirt you are wearing, that kind of thing. Fabrics are a lot thinner and the overall styling seemed a little cheesy once you actually held the garment and inspected it. They seemed a little above Old Navy quality. I liked the shirts I got but in the back of my mind I was thinking that for the price they should have been better quality. I didn't like pattern and the material it was made from so I returned it. I liked most of what I got but there was one shirt that didn't live up to the promise of the catalog. They looked comfy, relaxed, and quietly stylish. I looked at the catalog and I actually really liked the clothes. I received their catalog a few months ago out of the blue.
